FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions ?
Do you only work with UK businesses?
Our core focus is UK-based organisations, but we can also support international teams that have operations, customers or data in the UK.
What’s the difference between a penetration test and vulnerability scanning?
Vulnerability scanning is an automated check that runs regularly and highlights known weaknesses. A penetration test is a deeper, consultant-led exercise that mimics real attackers to see how far they can actually get and how issues link together.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Most one-off projects such as a penetration test or Cyber Essentials readiness review take between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on scope and how quickly we can schedule testing and agree remediation actions.
Do we need a full-time security team to work with you?
No. Many of our clients have a small IT team or outsource IT entirely. We work alongside your existing IT provider or internal team to handle the security-specific elements and provide guidance.
Can you help us with Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus?
Yes. We can review your current controls, identify gaps, help you put the right measures in place and guide you through the assessment process with an accredited certification body.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on your size, systems and regulatory requirements. After a short discovery call we’ll give you a clear, fixed proposal or an estimate for ongoing support—no surprises.
What happens after you send us the report?
We don’t just send a PDF and disappear. We walk you through the findings, answer questions from your leadership and IT teams, and can support you as you work through the remediation actions.
